THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF THE FOURTH INSTALLMENT OF JUNCTION 2.
We look forward to seeing you all this weekend at Boston Manor Park. Ahead of this weekend we thought it would be good to round up everything you need to know before our favourite celebration in the year.
You’ve seen most of this before so just brief summary below, but if you want to view the full information just head to the info page on our website or download our phone app as everything you might want to know is there for you.
Don’t forget this is a daytime event! Gates open at 12.00pm (midday) with last entry at 6.00pm.
IF YOU CANNOT READ NOW PLEASE DO SO AT SOME POINT BEFORE THE EVENT. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION AHEAD OF THIS WEEKEND FOR YOUR SAFETY, ENJOYMENT AND OVERALL EXPERIENCE OF JUNCTION 2 FESTIVAL.
YOUR SAFETY & WELFARE
We care about you and we work very hard to make sure you remember Junction 2 as an amazing day (or two days) out. Everyone has the right to enjoy our event – no matter their age, race, appearance, dress sense, sexual orientation, ability, disability, gender or if you have 2 left feet. Please help us create this environment, be nice to each other and look after each other.
Medical & Welfare
We want you to be extra vigilant. If at any point during the event you feel unwell, please make your way to Welfare & First Aid tent to speak to our non-judgemental medics. Our qualified team are there to help you, whether you or any of your friends feel unwell, or even if you just need some time out. If you see someone on their own who looks vulnerable, please contact any member of staff nearby who can help.
Please look out for yourselves, your friends and those around you.
Anti-Harassment: If it’s unwanted, it is harassment.
If at any point you feel as though someone or something is making you feel unsafe or uncomfortable then please report it to our friendly staff at the Info Point, Medical Room or ask for Angela at any bar or any member of security staff.
We said everyone has the right to enjoy our event – this is not totally true as it excludes the phone thieves who are still targeting London clubs and festivals. Please be REALLY careful with your handbag and phone.
- Do NOT put it in your back pocket.
- Do NOT put it in your bag unless you know it is safe from the pick pockets. They can undo zips and pop clasps.
- Do NOT hand it to a stranger to take a photo of you and your friends.
If it does happen to be stolen, the only way we can try and help you is if you can give us a description of the thief and the location of the theft in as much detail as possible.
When arriving and leaving, please be quiet and respectful. This is a lovely residential area and we want to be invited back again. Please dispose of any litter in the bins provided and use the portable toilets / urinals next to the station and along the route. Please follow the event signage to site.
If we see you relieving yourself on someone’s doorstep, we won’t let you in.
If we see you misbehaving or using illegal substances (this includes NOS), we won’t let you in.
Date & Time
Friday 7th June
Saturday 8th June
12:00pm – 10:00pm (Last entry 6:00pm)
*If you purchased an entry before 2:00pm ticket, that means we expect you to arrive before 2:00pm 😉 any late comers will be required to make an additional payment on entry. Make sure you’re there on time, the day isn’t long enough as it is!
Maps & Set Times
Booklets containing maps, set times and other important information will be given out for free upon arrival so you’ll never get lost or miss a banging set again.
Have a read on our website about Junction 2’s accessibility.
If you find or lose anything, head down to the Info Point, where all lost property is being collected and logged in. After the event please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Lost property is stored for 30 days from the event date.
Admission Policy, ID, Ticketing & Other Entry Rules
Visit our website for full information. Don’t risk it – for us your brand new bottle of Diesel perfume or your grandad’s ornamental golden-handle paperknife that you keep on you at all times is just a weapon – and we don’t allow these in.

FOOD, DRINKS & FACILITIES ON SITE
- Tokens are the only currency accepted on ALL bars. Tokens are accepted by food traders and at lockers.
- Tokens can be purchased with cash or card, we advise bringing cash to speed up the process.
- You must be in the token queue at 22.15 for any unused tokens to be refunded.
- Cash and card can be used to buy food, lockers, and cigarettes.
- Please look after your tokens, we cannot take responsibility for damaged, lost or stolen tokens.
- Tokens must be bought in multiples of £10
Please note that tokens are only valid on day of purchase – if you purchase tickets on Friday they will not be available for use on Saturday. You must be in the token queue at 22:15 on the day of purchase for any unused tokens to be refunded
Reusable cups + drinks
We are genuinely trying to reduce our environmental impact. Therefore drinks are now served in reusable cups. You pay a deposit of 1 token per cup at the bar and swap your dirty cup for a clean cup with each new drink. Get your £1 back at the main tokens desk before 22:15. Get more information at the bars and info point.
These can only be purchased with tokens. Trust us – they do speed up the service. We’ve been doing this for years.
Aside from the standard offering, some of our bars will also offer tasty cocktails and pints of draught lager and cider. For 2019 we are also introducing a hidden gin bar in the woods!
For those who steer clear of alcohol we’re again offering mocktails and non-alcoholic beer on the main bars in each of the 3 arenas. Coffee also available in the food meadow.
Free water available on all bars (either from clearly signposted dedicated tap at the end of the bar or directly from bar staff).
You’re not allowed to bring any food or drink to the festival, but we tried hard to provide you with a variety of tasty offering on site (should you have very specific dietary requirements, please contact email@example.com in advance to arrange bringing your own).
List of traders can be found here.
Our version of a cloakroom. Have access to your stuff throughout the event.
- Key deposits are £10 and can be paid for with cash, card or tokens.
- Sizes & cost – Lockers are £6.00 for a small one (25 x 30 x 45cm) and £9.00 for a large (45 x 30 x 45cm). You can fit around 3 normal sized jackets in a small one.
- Valuables & phones – it is advisable to lock your mobile phone and wallet away. Unfortunately, pick pockets are still targeting London clubbers.
- On exit there will be no queue to get your stuff out of your locker but there may be a very quick queue to get a refund for your key deposit.
Your locker can only be used on the day of purchase. All codes will be reset between Friday and Saturday events.
We haven’t got any phone charging facility on site, charge your phone to full before you get here!
We’ll be selling a variety of garments and accessories. You can pay with card only.
These are going fast!!! Pre-book here or you might miss out on an opportunity to have a poo in pristine conditions.
You can pay with card for most of the things on site but there will be cash machines provided.
For full list of what can be purchased with cards, cash and tokens head to our website.
