Synonymous with events that popped up around the M25 at the dawn of rave culture, it was only a matter of time that Carl Cox made his Junction 2 debut.
Born in Barbados and raised in South London, Carl is techno’s global ambassador. His energy, track selection, technical precision and beaming smile have captivated audiences worldwide for over thirty years and despite his Space Ibiza residency coming to an end, Coxy isn’t letting up anytime soon.
Mixmag recently looked back at ten iconic DJ sets that have helped make Carl one of the most emblematic DJs on the planet. From hardcore in Leicester, to ferocious techno at Mayday Berlin and house on the Space Terrace, this is Carl Cox through the ages.
